Bluetooth direction finding solution for high-precision low-power Bluetooth device positioning

By using SoC-nRF52833 Bluetooth low energy connection, this waterproof positioning base station can be wirelessly connected to third-party tags and beacons, or other devices that support Bluetooth low energy, such as wearables, asset tags, mobile terminals, and smart locks. By using angle of arrival (AoA) technology to identify the direction of the tag/beacon signal, a single positioning base station can achieve accurate two-dimensional positioning and minimize the number of positioning base stations required for any given application to reduce deployment cost and difficulty.
nRF52833 2.4GHz multi-protocol radio has full Bluetooth direction finding capabilities, supporting not only received signal strength indication (RSSI) , but also positioning applications with signal direction information.it has ample memory allocation (512kB flash and 128kB RAM) , it supports both receiver and transmitter roles for AoA and Angle of Departure (AoD) applications. Combined with Core IoT's proprietary software, users can navigate to find any tag or beacon with sub-meter accuracy.nRF52833 SoC is used to control the positioner's switched antenna array, sample the Bluetooth Low Energy data packets, and extract the in-phase and quadrature-phase information ("IQ" signal information) required for AoA software calculations.
these data are in turn relayed from the positioning base station to the cloud, or on the user's Bluetooth 4.0 (and higher) smartphone or tablet computer, through the use of the company's "CoreLocation Location Assistant" application and WeChat applet to monitor the location information of wireless tags, beacons, or other low-power Bluetooth devices discovered by the positioning base station.

Nordic nRF52833 SoC combines a 64MHz, 32-bit Arm with floating-point unit (FPU) and DSP instruction set®Cortex®M4 processor with a multi-protocol radio with 8dBm maximum TX power and-95dBm RX sensitivity (supports Bluetooth 5.2, Bluetooth mesh, Bluetooth direction finding, 2Mbps throughput and Long Range plus Thread, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4 and proprietary 2.4GHz RF protocol software).
This SoC is equipped with Nordic's Bluetooth RF protocol stack S113, S112 or S140 SoftDevice.
